4 FT TRACTOR BOX BLADE SCRAPER ATTACHMENT - IRONCRAFT 3104
A good, durable tractor box blade attachment (also known as a box scraper) is one of the most versatile tractor attachments out there and one of those "must-have" tools for working with land. We hear from customers all the time who wonder how they ever managed without one.
The Ironcraft 3104 is a hard-working box blade built for leveling, scraping, and grading in all types of ground and soil conditions. It’s two replaceable carbon steel cutting edges in the front and rear make it great for smoothing out and leveling uneven ground surfaces, spreading material, and fine grading. The 3104 also features three adjustable ripper shanks for breaking up hard soil and clearing small stumps, roots, rocks, and unwanted growth when preparing ground for scraping and grading.
The Ironcraft 3104 is designed to mount on the tractor's 3-point hitch, making it adjustable for different requirements, including rough grading, fine leveling, soil aeration, or land clearing.
Blade Angle and Height Adjustment: The 3104 is designed so that the tractor hitch’s top link retraction adjustment changes the angle of its front and rear blades. This changes how the 3104 moves and spreads material.
- A level (front to rear) adjustment position is designed for leveling and spreading material evenly across a wide area.
- A forward angle adjustment (toward the tractor) is used for cutting or digging into the soil, which is useful in cutting and lowering a grade, initial ground preparation, or breaking up harder surfaces.
- A rear angle adjustment (away from the tractor) is used for spreading large volumes of material, evening out more severely uneven ground, and filling deeper ruts.
Tilt Adjustment: The horizontal tilt of the 3104 (left or right) can also be adjusted. This is very useful for grading or scraping on an incline or slope, contouring or drainage projects, and shaping or terracing. This position is also useful for clearing snow and debris and creating drainage channels.
Height Adjustment: Raising or lowering 3104 with the tractor’s 3-point hitch controls the depth of grade level of the soil. This is especially useful when digging or working with different soil types and conditions.
Ripper Height Adjustment: When adjusted to the lowest position, the ripper shanks dig deeply into the ground to break up compacted soil, initial ground breaking, or aeration. When raised, they allow for smoother grading and finishing work.
